Responsibilities for the Mechanical Designer
• Design and create models using advanced surface modeling features, such as, boundary surfaces, datum and projected curves, variable section sweeps and fillets, and splines
• Create assemblies, intricate engineering detail subassembly, and layout drawings
• Assist engineers with complex design and manufacturing constraints
• Compute model analysis (volumes, areas, material quantities) for products using accepted software, formulas and manuals. Rely on expertise of project engineer when required
